SEDI-ATI, a specialist in fiber optic components for harsh or extreme environments, reorganizes its capital with Yotta Capital, the new majority shareholder and the first French investment fund fully dedicated to the development and decarbonization of industrial SMEs.

Founded in 1951 and led by Jean-François Vinchant since 2016, SEDI-ATI has become an expert in designing and manufacturing passive fiber optic components for custom applications in constrained or extreme environments, serving industries such as Energy, Aerospace, Communication, and Research.

With Yotta’s entry, SEDI-ATI plans to accelerate development in renewable energy, healthcare, and data communication markets, while continuing R&D efforts for new innovations. Yotta Capital will also support SEDI-ATI in reducing its carbon intensity.

Anthony Wimbush and Charles-Antoine Cayez of DDA & Company facilitated this capital reorganization, enabling the exit of IDF Capital and Yotta Capital’s entry as the majority shareholder to support the company’s next development phase.

The DDA & Company team, including Anthony Wimbush and Charles-Antoine Cayez, advised SEDI-ATI in this sell-side transaction.
