Founded in 2005, pure-player in its activity, Médialis has developed a solution for the management, orientation, coordination and follow-up of both patients and users in the medico-social sector.

This acquisition strengthens Berger-Levrault‘s position as a leader in the medico-social market with the prospect of proposing a comprehensive, coherent, innovative and efficient offer in line with the ambition to put digital technology at the service of the close relationship between people in fragile situations and the professionals who support them. The sharing of experience and synergies between the two entities will enable them to enrich their product offerings and to consider their application in new markets.

For Pierre-Marie Lehucher, Chairman and CEO of Berger-Levrault, “The arrival of Médialis in the Berger-Levrault Group, a long-standing partner of the medical and social world and a major player in the digital sector, feeds the company’s project and its objective of leadership in these fast-growing sectors.

Erwann Gravot, co-founder of Médialis, adds: “We share with Berger-Levrault common values and a strong commitment to the health and medical-social sector. The complementarity of our offers will enable us to strengthen our presence in the digitalization of specialized healthcare paths.

This acquisition “opens up new perspectives at a time when the French government is encouraging the implementation of solutions that work towards a more inclusive society,” explains Tugdual Le Bouar, Managing Director of Berger-Levrault. He adds “we will continue to follow the path taken by Médialis, and will pursue the development of the relationships established between Médialis and its partners.”

Alexandre Odin, founding Partner at DDA & Company, concludes: “It is very rare to find such a complementary product and common vision between two organizations. This operation is the perfect representation of it.
