Following an auction process led by DDA & Company, Apax partners will hold a majority stake in Graitec, alongside Francis Guillemard, founder and the management team (Manuel Liédot – CEO, Isabelle Bouyenval – CFO, Ionel Dragu – CTO,  and Steve Houlder – COO) who significantly reinvests in the transaction. After backing the company for the last 5 years, financial sponsor Isatis Capital exits its investment.

Graitec markets innovative solutions dedicated to the AEC industry through a portfolio of innovative software products developed in-house or by its partner Autodesk, world leader in BIM solutions (Building Information Modeling).

Graitec’s offering covers the entire BIM value chain, including Design, Simulation, Fabrication and Data management.

Employing c. 550 staffs and operating a network of 45 offices in 13 countries, Graitec distributes its solutions to nearly 15,000 clients representing over 135,000 active users.

It is the 6th software deal advised by DDA in 2019 following the sale of ID Systèmes to Messchaert Capital Partners, the sale of Telecom Services to Groupe Hoppen, and the acquisition of Syfadis by Groupe Orians.
